Why should price not be compared by litres alone?
Litres describe chamber volume. Two machines of the same size can differ in shredding, sensors, biological control and site installation. Chamber volume and daily throughput are different measures; match the waste stream and equipment scope first.
How is operating cost calculated?
Operating costs include energy use, operator time and maintenance. In our experience, average draw is about 30% of installed power and varies with the feedstock. Energy expense is calculated from measured kWh and your electricity tariff. No operator tasks are needed other than loading. Cloud reports help you track energy use across reporting periods.
Is the largest model always more economical?
Selection follows daily flow, peaks, feeding arrangements and site conditions. Over- or undersizing affects placement, loading and operation. A recommendation must use the actual waste profile.
